Corpus Christi

In RE this half term Year 6 have been thinking about Vocation and Commitment. We first thought about what the word commitment meant to us and what things comes along with commitment such as sacrifices of time or energy. We thought about what commitment certain jobs required, before focusing our attention on the vocation and commitment involved with being ordained.

We looked closely at the sacrament of ordination and were lucky enough to ask some of our questions around vocation and commitment to Bishop Stephen when he visited our school.

We finished out topic reflecting on our learning and a group of children led us in a celebration.
