Corpus Christi

On Monday Year 6 planned and carried out a class celebration of the word to celebrate the end of their unity topic. We gathered to think about why we are happiest when we are united.

We celebrated by signing one of our favourite hymns, Gather Together and we sat in a circle to symbolise unity around our prayer table.
We listened to the scripture from John 17 where Jesus prays to his father that we may all be one.

We then said the school prayer which unites us and we passed the cross around the circle as we suggested ways we can care about the world as our family.
