Corpus Christi

In Reception class, the children have been learning about the concept of Advent and that Advent is a time of waiting for the celebration of Christ’s birth.  The children have learnt about the first Christmas – the story of Jesus’ birth. They enjoyed listening to the Gospels of Luke and Matthew which tell us the story of the Nativity. They performed an absolutely fantastic Nativity story for their parents! The children enjoyed celebrating Jesus’ birthday in our class. The children in Reception are looking forward to celebrating Jesus’ birthday this year.  The children are using the Advent Wreath as well as the Advent Calendars to count down to Jesus’ birthday.
