Puberty Talk

A post in our latest news section.

Year 5 and Year 6 were recently visited by school nurses who delivered a sensitive and informative session about puberty.

The nurses explained the physical and emotional changes that children may experience as they grow, creating a safe space for pupils to ask questions and develop their understanding.

This valuable session supports children’s personal development and wellbeing by helping them to build confidence, develop a positive sense of self, and understand that these changes are a normal part of growing up.

It also encourages pupils to take care of their health and wellbeing, equipping them with the knowledge and reassurance they need during this important stage of their development.
