Making Fruit Smoothies in Year 3

In their Design and Technology lessons, Year 3 have been learning about which types of food grow in certain countries. The children learned that climate affects food growth, and different climates are good for different fruits and vegetables to grow. Some food types need to be imported and some exported to other countries. The children researched seasonal foods and they found out that different food types are produced in different seasons. Finally the children learned to follow a recipe and they made fruit fruit smoothies using oat milk, bananas, strawberries and seeds. Everyone agreed that the smoothies were delicious!
