On Thursday we spent the morning with artist Noriko. Noriko is a Japanese artists and author who spent lots of time telling us about Japanese culture before introducing us to two traditional styles of Japanese art: origami and chigiri, which is a type of collage.

We tried both styles of art and made a spinning butterfly and a box using origami and we created a piece of chigiri based on the zodiac sign of the snake.
