Year 2 have loved their Design and Technology topic this half term. The children have worked hard looking at textiles and being able to sew a running stitch. First, the children practiced their running stitch. Next, year 2 used a template to cut out a stocking design. After that, they joined ttwo pieces of fabric together to create a pouch and finally used their well practiced running stitch to join the stocking together.
