Corpus Christi

During this half term, the children in Reception have started to develop their gymnastic skills. We started the unit creating shapes with our bodies. Next, we created shapes which we had previously looked at but this time we introduced apparatus. The children showed great confidence using the apparatus when creating their shapes that they had learnt from the previous lesson.  

Next half term, we will develop our balancing, jumping, landing, rocking and rolling skills. We will end the term creating short sequences and linking them together.

We are looking forward to continue to develop our gymnastics skills further.
