Designing and Making Castles in Year 3

This term Year 3 have designed and made toy model castles in their Design and Technology lessons. The children studied the different parts of a castle, before using folding and joining skills to construct their model from cardboard. They then added battlements, windows, a drawbridge and a flag to add finishing touches to their model. The children finally evaluated their construction reflecting on what went well and what they could try to improve next time. Everyone agreed that the results were fantastic!
