Year 5 attempted to make spaghetti bridges in DT last week. This was lots of fun but proved very challenging! We had discussed the design for the bridge in advance, settling on a truss style bridge, as this was the most sturdy design. Children had to tape bundles of spaghetti together with tape to make each individual section of the bridge. As the spaghetti was quite fragile, they needed to do this carefully to ensure it didn’t break apart. Well done Year 5 for persevering!
