Corpus Christi

This half term Year 1 have read lots of lovely stories. One of our favourite books has been ‘Beegu.’ We began this story by making a prediction about what happened to Beegu. Year 1 made very creative predictions and used the clues in the text and pictures to make some really good guesses. We then spent a lot of time thinking about Beegu’s feelings and started to use adjectives to describe Beegu’s character. We have been trying really hard to remember our capital letters, full stops and finger spaces, as well as keeping our writing on the line. Year 1 have made a fantastic start to their writing this half term. Take a look at our work!
