Corpus Christi

Year 6 were delighted to welcome a visitor from Nexus, who delivered an engaging and informative session to support pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.

During the visit, children learned how to use public transport responsibly and respectfully, including understanding appropriate behaviour when travelling on buses.

Nexus also guided pupils through the process of planning journeys, helping them to feel more confident and independent when navigating routes to school and beyond. The session also introduced the different types of bus passes available, ensuring pupils are well informed for the next stage of their education.

The visit was a valuable opportunity to equip Year 6 with important life skills for their journey into secondary school.
