Nursery thoroughly enjoyed a visit from our local librarian called Joanne. She told the children all about her role at Gateshead library, she even told them how their grown ups could sign up to the library for free and borrow some books regularly. This sounded very excited and something the children were really excited about. Joanne read the children two lovely stories and gave them a sticker each for listening to the stories very well and answering some questions about the stories. Joanne gave the children each a Bookstart pack containing two lovely books about ‘Supertato’ and ‘colours’, some crayons and a craft for the children to do. All the children used their manners and thanked Joanne for her visit and Bookstart pack.
