Corpus Christi

On Wednesday 25th March, year 4 took part in the Gateshead schools dance festival at the Glasshouse.

After weeks of rehearsal with their fantastic dance instructor, Helen, year 4 showcased their brilliant dancing and performed their ‘Fiesta’ dance for the whole audience at the Gateshead schools dance festival. The performance was a mash up of different Spanish songs, and the children worked together as a wonderful team to put on a spectacular show!

For most of the children, this was their first time performing in front of such a large audience. They found it really exciting and were very proud of their performance, including the children who had never danced before, the whole class let their lights shine and made all of us at Corpus Christi proud.

Year 4 would like to say thank you to Helen for her choreography, Miss Brown for making our amazing costumes, Mr Hudson for his help at the festival and all of the parents and carers who came to support us.
