Corpus Christi Primary School: At the Heart of Our Parish
Corpus Christi Primary School is an integral and much-loved part of the Corpus Christi Parish community. Rooted in our shared Catholic faith, the school and parish work closely together to ensure that our children grow spiritually, academically and socially within a strong, supportive Catholic environment.
The close relationship between the school and parish is one of our greatest strengths. Pupils regularly take part in parish liturgies and celebrations, helping them to develop a deep understanding of their faith and a strong sense of belonging to the wider parish family. Our parish priest, Father Christopher Warren, plays an active role in school life, supporting worship and helping pupils to explore the Gospel message in a meaningful and age-appropriate way.
Proximity to Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School
We are especially fortunate that our church building is located on the same site as the school. This allows us to make full use of this shared space, enriching the children’s spiritual experiences. Classes attend Mass, liturgies and prayer services in the church regularly throughout the year, giving pupils the opportunity to worship in a sacred space and to feel truly part of parish life from an early age.
Our Involvement in Parish Life
Daily prayer, sacramental preparation and the celebration of key moments in the Church’s liturgical year are strengthened by this unique arrangement. The church is not just a place we visit, but a central part of the children’s faith journey and school experience.
Together, Corpus Christi Primary School and Corpus Christi Parish work hand in hand to nurture faith, values and community spirit. This strong partnership ensures that our children are supported in living out the Gospel both within school and beyond, as active, caring members of the parish and the wider community.
