Corpus Christi

Year 5 enjoyed a lovely trip to the Shipley Art Gallery this week to take part in an autumn art workshop. Firstly, they explored the exhibits and sketched inspiration for their artwork on paper. Following this, they turned their sketches and ideas into a watercolour landscape, thinking about the colours that are best suited to the season. We also linked the visit to our current art topic where we’ve been thinking about the foreground, middle ground and background of our compositions.
