Corpus Christi

We have thoroughly enjoyed reading Speak Up by Nathan Byron and Dapo Adelaide. The story tells the tale of a young bookworm called Rocket who makes it her mission to save her local library. She loves reading and has been inspired by great change-makers of the past such as Rosa Parks. During our learning, we wrote persuasive letters to Mrs Maxwell and Mrs Bonello asking for improvements to be made to our class library. We also wrote fact files about Rosa Parks. Excellent work, year 2!
