Year 5 have been working incredibly hard in Computing and visited Saltwell Park this half term to capture photos and videos for their “Video Production” unit.

They have been learning how to capture, edit and manipulate video using the free app iMovie. They planned which areas of the park they would like to include in their videos and spent a very soggy Wednesday morning capturing photos and videos, using the ‘grid lines’ and ‘level’ tools in the Camera app. There wasn’t a single complaint, even when we were taking shelter under the trees!

The children are now busy creating their videos in iMovie, adding in photos and videos, using transitions, text and soundtracks to make the perfect video. Here are some of the photos from the day and we will share some of their videos later in the term.
