Safety Works

A post in our latest news section.

On Thursday Year 6 visited Safety Works in Newcastle. This is a pop up ‘world’ designed to teach us about safety including road safety, water safety, rail safety and how to stay safe and avoid peer pressure. We all had the chance to experience each aspect and spent time discussing different scenarios and acting out others. As you can see we found out what happens when people are peer pressured into doing things that break the law such as shop lifting or setting fires illegally. We found out the consequences of making bad decisions. Everybody was impeccable behaved and our politeness was commented on by all the staff working at safety works! Well done Year 6!
