Corpus Christi

This week, Years 2 & 5 had the opportunity to show off their musical skills to each other and their families in their end of tuition sharing performance. Year 2 played brilliantly on the glockenspiel, showing how much they’ve learnt about rhythm and notation, playing each piece from memory. Year 5 expertly played the ukulele demonstrating 5 different chords and experimenting with tempo and rhythm patterns. The performance culminated in a joint rendition of ‘Mary had a little lamb’, a Corpus Christi first with two classes performing on different instruments simultaneously. They have certainly raised the bar high for their next performances!
