Corpus Christi

Year 2 have been learning about multiplication and division. We started by looking at equal and unequal groups before learning how to use arrays to organise groups. The children have started using the multiplication sign ‘x’ and have written multiplication sentences. They have also started using the division sign and have made equal groups by grouping and sharing. Some children used counters to help them with division where others drew their own pictorial representations.
