Corpus Christi

This half term Year 5 have been working on an art project based on space and the future. The overall theme of the topic was drawing, but we have used other mediums to create our final piece of work. 

We started the topic by recreating a piece of a picture using different drawing techniques: simple line drawing, continuous line drawing, using oil pastels and drawing over different textures. 

To create our backgrounds, we made collagraph templates to create different textures. We then painted these and used them to print our backgrounds. 

Finally, we drew our own ideas about the future and transferred our favourites onto our backgrounds for the final piece.
