A post in our latest news section.

This Summer term we have done some excellent History work. In Year 1 we have learnt all about seasides in the past. We first explored pictures of past and present day seasides. We noticed that a seaside in the past had very different features compared to the seaside we might visit today. We then started to learn about these features. We now know that at a seaside in the past there used to be a puppet show called a Punch and Judy show. We also know that there were donkey rides and bathing machines! In Year 2, we have learnt all about the Stone Age. We have explored Stonehenge and thought about why it was built. In Year 3 we have learnt lots about Alexander the Great and his famous battles. We have all worked very hard in our History lessons. Great work!
