Corpus Christi

Year 2 have been using counters to find halves and quarters of amounts. During our work on Fractions we began by recognising a half, then a quarter and a third. Then we moved on to finding fractions of amounts. Using concrete representations really helped us because we could physically move them in to boxes and check whether the groups were equal.
