Using Textiles to make Cushions in Year 3.

The children in Year 3 have recently completed their Design and Technology project focussing on working with textiles. The children designed a small simple cushion to make out of felt. They had to choose which colour felt they wanted to make their design from and add decorations to it. The children then had to sew their cushion together using running stitches and stuff it. When it was assembled the children then had to decorate their cushion with felt and sequins. Their final task was then to evaluate their product and say what went well and find something they would try to do better next time. The cushions looked amazing and everyone was very proud of their finished product.
